Celebrating the Feast of the Transfiguration - 2024St. George welcomed and wishes to thank Fr. Dennis Rhodes for serving Divine Liturgy for us on Sunday, August 11th. We celebrated the Feast of the Transfiguration, which was transferred from Tues, Aug 6th. After Divine Liturgy, Fr. Dennis blessed grapes, fruit, and vegetables that is traditional on this feast day. Fr. Dennis was our parish priest from 2010 through 2018, after which he retired after serving 40 years as a priest. Please view some photos below.
