Celebrating the Feast of Pentecost - 2025

St. George celebrated the Feast of Pentecost on Sunday, June 8th with Divine Liturgy, immediately followed by the Kneeling Vespers. The Feast commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit and is also seen as the culmination of the revelation of the Holy Trinity. St. George’s icon of this feast is located on the left. The Troparian for Pentecost:  Blessed art You O Christ Our God / You have revealed the fishermen as most wise / By sending down upon them the Holy Spirit / Through them You drew the world into Your net / O Lover of Man, Glory to You!  Below please find a few photos.
