Attached below is a email letter from FOCUS North America (The Fellowship of Orthodox Christians United ot Serve) on their fund raising campaign for Giving Tuesday.   Giving Tuesday is an annual global day of generosity that occurs on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It's a movement that encourages people to give back to their communities through charitable acts, which can include donating money, volunteering time, or performing random acts of kindness. The day, founded in 2012, has grown into an international initiative promoting generosity and community building.  Your donation this year will be matched. 

FOCUS North America is proceeding to start-up a Program and Community Center in Bridgport, CT -  you may choose to earmark your donation to the local level (Bridgeport) or to the national level.  There are links in the letter below to both a campaign video and to the Giving Day donation page (scroll down the page of the donation page to find links to individual local centers). 

Giving Tuesday is almost here and we’re excited to announce that early giving is now open! You don’t have to wait until December 2 to make a difference.

From now through Giving Tuesday, every dollar you give to FOCUS North America will be matched, doubling the impact of your gift. Early contributions help build momentum and bring us closer to our goal of unlocking $265,000 in matched funds to support families and communities across the country.
