On Sunday, Feb 1st, the Sunday before the Feast of “The Meeting of the Lord in the Temple” (or "Papandia" in Albanian), we will recognize the parish's Teuta Ladies Society who will be celebrating their Patronal Feast Day, with prayers after Divine Liturgy.  The Meeting of the Lord is normally celebrated on Feb 2nd, we are transferring the feast to the day prior, Sunday, Feb 1st.

The Queen Teuta Ladies Society was formed/organized in 1931.  In 2026, the St. George parish will recognize and thank them for their 95 years of service.  May God grant them all many years!
