Daniel Montgomery and their family.  Their ministry together had faithfully served our parish of Saint George in Trumbull, Connecticut. In Memoriam: Matushka Maria Montgomery

WILLIAMSBURG, VA [OCA] -- The Chancery of the Orthodox Church in America was recently informed that Matushka Maria Luisa Montgomery, beloved wife of Archpriest Daniel B. Montgomery, fell asleep in the Lord at the Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center on November 8, 2016, days short of her 91st birthday.

 Matushka Maria and her husband of 69 years served together in the OCA's Albanian Archdiocese until Father Daniel's retirement.

 In addition to Father Daniel, who now resides in Sutton, MA, Matushka Maria is survived by their daughters, Dr. Sylvia Shaw of Sutton, MA and Mrs. Louise Snyder of Kerrville, TX; their son, Robert Andrew Montgomery of Williamsburg, VA; and twelve grandchildren.

 Funeral services were celebrated at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Williamsburg, VA.
