On Sunday, Feb 6th, the first Sunday after the Meeting of the Lord or "Papandia", the parish's Teuta Ladies Society celebrated its Patronal Feast Day, with prayers after Divine Liturgy.
Traditionally they offer 5 loaves, wheat, wine and oil for the celebration, and grure, (a boiled-wheat confection) for the health of the parish family.
With the first meeting of the Teuta Ladies Society being held in January 1932, on this day the St. George parish also recognizes and thanks them for their 90 years of service. May God grant them all many years! Click onto the more information link below to view a few photos.
