St. George was saddened to learn that Archpriest John Scollard unexpectedly fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, May 31st. Fr. John has been attached and serving as the Dean of Saint George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral in Boston.  

For 35 years, he was the former pastor of Saint John the Baptist Church in South Boston until the parish was tragically destroyed by fire in 2013.
